I recently completed the 12 week program with Alex at Feast of Green. I will begin by saying--Alex is wonderful! Not only have I gained so much nutritional knowledge from Alex that I would not otherwise have, but Alex helped me figure out how to implement and integrate the information into my life, in a realistic, sustainable way that fits my lifestyle. I will use this information for the rest of my life and am super happy that I invested in myself and worked with Alex. She is truly easy to talk to, insightful, nonjudgmental, and has a wealth of information. She is absolutely the nutritionist for me and would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Alex and I talked a lot more about kayaking, Zumba and that slice of cake than we did calories and food restrictions. I had worked with a nutritionist twice before to modify my weight and eating habits and was used to food tracking and meal planning. While I used some of those tools working with Alex for me her 12 weekly sessions were more about where to find joy in life outside of food. Learning to balance macronutrients went hand in hand with getting a better night sleep and getting out of the house more. I can imagine that different clients have distinct goals, and I get the sense that Alex is able to meet them where they are. She took my desire to eat meals with a family and recapture the excitement of movement seriously. Her recommendations included nutrition goals but also books, apps, and podcasts about embracing the food we crave, life, ourselves. I would invite anyone to take this journey to feel nourished and satisfied. Alex is a great guide.

Alex, was really patient and open minded. It was refreshing to work with someone who had a realistic take on nutrition and was focused on keeping me healthy and functioning rather than losing weight. I went in with expectations about looking a certain way but thanks to Alex's lessons on weight set point and restrictive dieting, I walked away knowing how to really look after and care for my body. Thanks to this 12 week program I now understand what my cravings mean and why my weight was fluctuating so much over the years. If you want to truly understand your body I would recommend this program.

Alex is a great listener and really takes the time to get to know you and your needs. She is super responsive--I loved being able to connect with her via text and email in between our appointments. Her advice and insight was truly valuable and has helped me create a different mindset around how best to take care of my nutrition. Would definitely recommend!

Alex and I worked together through her 12 week program. I initially found Feast of Green on Yelp and both my wife and I scheduled a consultation to share our needs and goals before we committed to the program. I was looking to establish new eating habits that added value for me as well as work on general wellness and improvement of energy, attitude, and routine. Alex's weekly program offers insights, structure, and support without feeling restricted or prescribed. She leveraged a food tracking app with me as well to help me become aware of how my food and drink selections impact my energy, muscles, hormones, and more. We covered a range of topics over 12 weeks including nutrition, sleep, body image, stress, exercise, and boundaries for a total self review and reflection. I'm walking away more knowledgable and observant of my choices and decisions, and more empowered and confident to make adjustments. Very happy with Alex's service, communication, availability, and knowledge. Shout out to Tabitha for helpful admin support as well! Highly recommend Feast of Green if you're looking to make long term adjustments in your life - it is never too early or too late to give it a shot.

If you are looking for a quick recommendation: Would I use alex again? Absolutely. Would I recommend alex to close friends? Definitely Did she make an impact? No doubt. Now if you want more details you can keep reading. I was looking for a nutritionist to help me get into healthier eating habits and lose weight. I has changed my diet and lost weight earlier in the year but then plateaued. After interviewing lots of nutritionists over the phone, most of them started to blend together. Alex, though, stood out from the very start. What i realized is a lot of the advice is probably similar, but for me, Alex was able to immediately make a connection. I felt like she was listening to my individual needs. She uses a blend of nutritional science and also spends time to understand your every day routines, stresses, your activity levels and psychological needs to craft a very individual program for you. She works with you to think about the bigger picture and how to create a sustainable routine. I'm one to do something for a short amount time and then quit. So this approach was definitely appreciated. She explains things from both the psychology and scientific side - which is exactly what I needed to buy in. Always available by text whenever I had even the most mundane question about the program. I signed up for the initial 12 week program and have already decided to continue on with her past the 12 weeks. I would recommend you talk to several people to find the right fit for you, but definitely have alex & feast of greens on your call sheet. Oh, and pretty much everything everyone else said in the other reviews.

I worked with Alex through her 12 week program. Alex is phenomenal! Ultimately she helped me figure out how to eat and how to fuel my body. We crushed old thought patterns that had held me back for so long and helped me define a better relationship with my body. Unlike diet culture, working with Alex wasn't about restriction and feeling bad about my choices, instead I felt empowered and encouraged to love myself and destroy the morality I had built around "discipline." This honestly felt like Food Therapy as we broke down years of misguided patterns. My entire relationship around food has completely changed and I love myself now more than ever. I highly recommend working with Alex to anyone!!

Alex is amazing! I really enjoyed working with her. Alex and I worked on how to fuel my body with foods that will make me feel good. We didn't focus on weight or restrictions, but how to make small changes and be more conscious of how the food I eat impacts my entire day. Over the time we worked together, Alex became somewhat of a therapist for me. Food is emotional and Alex really helped me process some of the emotion behind some of my habits. The whole process felt very personal and not cookie cutter at all. I would highly recommend working with Alex!!

I'm so glad that I decided to work with Alex. She approaches what can be very sensitive issues (e.g., weight, stress) with kindness and great tact. Her focus is on providing realistic and sustainable strategies and habits. I think of myself as someone with a pretty good grasp of nutrition but I still learned so much from her. I came to Alex to focus primarily on my diet (which she helped me greatly with), but she also ended up providing recommendations that totally changed my sleep for the better.

I was looking for a local nutritionist to help me reevaluate my macros/ daily intake. I wanted more freedom around food. I wanted to stop counting calories and stop tracking everything I ate. I've been trying to lose weight on and off again for the past 6 years. The past 2 years has been the longest/ committed/ successful chapter in my weight loss journey; I've lost a total of 70 lbs. My first video chat with Alexandra was very comfortable. She listened to my story and heard what I wanted/ was looking for. She is extremely knowledgeable and her recommendations were reasonable. I really thought my time with her was going to be focused on food, but it was not. We have been working on how I look at food and body acceptance. My experience working with her was very positive; I gained a lot of knowledge and learned so many great new resources. I'm very thankful for her guidance and support.
